Some really nice designs from US based YUSUFCO.
Check out the work and support them. It’s so rare to see this perfect blend of the traditional and modern, I can’t think of a single thing I don’t like about this brand. Featuring calligraphy from world renowned contemporary arabic calligrapher Eduard Dimasov.
And how did I not know the new Arabesque was out?? It’s my favorite!!

Type designer extraordinaire, Jesse Ragan, released the latest iteration of his website this past week. Chock full of new and meticulously designed work, Jesse’s type design gets more interesting with each project. His projects range from the current typeface of V Magazine, to the logotype for Glade, to working closely with Hoefler-Frere Jones on major typefaces like Gotham and Archer. Jesse, a self proclaimed designer of serious typefaces, is sure to continue to awe and inspire aspiring (and current!) type designers.
Can’t wait to hear him speak tomorrow!

Three book cover redesigns due for The Kite Runner. Three different concepts, three different executions. And none of them can have a kite.
This is my first one but I’m not feelin it yet. This is one of my all-time favorite books and it feels like I’m not doing justice to it.
A collection of table lights inspired by the play of balance and lightness.
materials: copper, aluminium
the blocks are an entire block of copper, the LED lights are in between 2 aluminium sheets, one 3mm the other 1mm thick and wired all the way out, the copper block is sanded and finished by hand. the aluminium sheets are sanded by hand and then spray painted a matt back and is finished with a light sand.
